Join us in our efforts to support the Wounded Warrior Project!

Hello everyone,

I am proud to invite you to the 1st Annual Charity Softball Game between the Hudson County Young Democrats vs. the Hudson County Young Republicans on Saturday Afternoon July 25th starting @ 1PM! We will be playing for the Wounded Warrior Project. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to wounded soldiers and their families. The game will be played at the Louis A. Ferullo Memorial Field, which belongs to Weehawken High School in Weehawken, New Jersey. The address is 372 Park Avenue, Weehawken, New Jersey 07086. The field is located directly next to the Weehawken Town Hall and directly above the Lincoln Tunnel. There is plenty of parking for this event and it is easily accessible via NJ Transit Buses. The cost at the gate will be $5 per person and all proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

There is a nice picnic area and comfortable seating available for this game. I do suggest you bring lawn chairs in case you do not wish to sit in the bleachers for the duration of the game. In addition, the concession stand will be open with very affordable refreshments (hot dogs, chips, soda, bottled water, etc.) For any of you that have children, the picnic area will be ideal for you to sit down with them and eat while watching the game. I look forward to seeing you there.
